This article will explain how to start a Cisco Webex video call with Alleo MultiShare.

On a device with MultiShare downloaded, start or join a Webex call. If you are using multiple devices, invite and have all devices join the call before integrating MultiShare.

Launching Multishare

  • From one of the Cisco devices, click the three dots in the Webex call menu to open “More” and select Alleo MultiShare to launch the program.

  • Note that launching on one device will not automatically launch MultiShare on all devices on the Webex call

Starting a New Session

  • From the MultiShare start screen, select “Start a New Session”

  • This will open the MultiShare Quad-View and also provide a link for other users to join at the bottom of the screen.

Joining a Multishare Session

  • Other Cisco devices can join by clicking the three dots in the Webex call menu to open “More” and select Alleo MultiShare to launch the program.

    • From there, input the code from the first session into the “Join Existing Session” field.

  • Laptop users can join into the session by typing the link into their browser of choice. This will allow the Webex call to continue in the background as they are accessing the MultiShare session.

Although Webex is the best experience with Cisco devices, the Alleo MultiShare does support Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls as well.
