Welcome to the Alleo drawing tools guide!
The drawing tools allow you to accomplish the following:
Draw anywhere on the board using multiple color options.
Draw freeform, straight lines, and draw with arrows.
Erase any stroke that was previously drawn.
Use the select tool to select any stroke.
Adjust the stroke thickness, color, dash style, and dash animation.
Where can I find the drawing tool?ย
Select Drawing from the main menu.
The draw option will then be selected by default, so you can start drawing on the board.
In the illustration below, we use the default settings and select white to draw a star.
How do I change the color of an existing drawing?
Using the cursor tool, select the desired stroke for which you would like to change the color.
Select the round color icon, and select a different color.
In the illustration below, we change the color of an existing drawing from white to yellow.
How do I draw a straight line or add arrows?
Select Toggle drawing mode from the main menu to toggle between freeform, freeform with arrows, straight line, or straight line with arrows.
In the illustration below, we toggle between straight lines and straight lines with arrows.
How does the eraser work?ย
Select the Eraser from the main menu.
Click or touch and drag your mouse over content to erase any strokes. Note that any stroke that comes into contact with the eraser will be removed.
In the illustration below, we erase the lines in between the numbers.
How do I adjust the weight of my drawing?
Select Toggle drawing mode from the main menu and use the slider to adjust the weight of your current pen.
If you want to adjust the thickness/weight of an existing drawing, select the drawing you'd like to change and use the options in the submenu to customize.
In the illustration below, we change the thickness of the drawing from thinner to thicker by using the submenu.
How do I make a toggle dash style and animation?
Select the drawing you'd like to change and use the options in the submenu to customize.
In the submenu, you'll be able to toggle whether the drawing is dashed or not. Once the dashed style is toggled on, you may toggle the animation of the drawing.
