What can I do with the Container tool?

The Container tool allows you to organize assets in a vertical or horizontal list.

How can I add assets into a container

  1. Select the (T) icon on the main toolbar and then select the Container tool.

  2. By default, Containers are a semi-transparent rectangle. Drag any asset from the board into the container.

In the illustration below, we added a sticky note and a picture into the container.

How can I resize the container?

  1. Select the container.

  2. By default, the bottom-right handle scales the container. To resize, click the bottom-right square to change it to the resize icon. Then you can change the height and width of the container.

In the illustration below, we resize the container from vertical to horizontal orientation.

How can I edit the Container background color?

  1. Click a container and then click the (...) menu located under the container object.

  2. Click the gear icon to access container settings.

  3. Click on the Customization tab.

  4. Hit the painter's palette icon in the Background Color section.

  5. Select desired Color and hit ok.

  6. Save new settings.

In the illustration below, we changed the background color for the container.

What does the Container margin do?

  • The margin will affect the distance between assets within a container. Larger margin values result in a larger amount of space between assets.

In the illustration below, we change the margin from 10 to 15.

How do I add Live Video to a container?

  1. Click a container and then click the (...) menu located under the container object.

  2. Click the gear icon to access container settings.

  3. Click on the Live Video tab.

  4. Under the dropdown select the type of user videos to add stream objects for.

  5. In the second dropdown, select the shape you wish the videos to populate as.

  6. Save new settings.

In the illustration below, we select live video to be added to the container.
