Welcome to the Presentation Mode Overview!

As a board owner, Presentation Mode helps you accomplish the following:

  • For all users, display a single specific slide or location and navigate between them so you always know what other participants are seeing. Other content is not shown while presentation mode is enabled.

  • View your presentation notes that are associated with a specific slide or board location.

  • Present in a browser window or prompt users to join the fullscreen experience.

  • Assing the presenter to another user, so that user can take control of the current slide.

  • Edit content on-the-fly while you are presenting to your audience.

Who can use presentation Mode?

You must be a board owner to access Presentation Mode.

How can I start my presentation?

You can start your presentation by pressing the "Start presentation" button in the board header. When starting your presentation, you must choose between presenting in the browser window or prompting all users to join fullscreen.

How can I control the navigation for my audience?

With Presentation Mode enabled, the audience will always see what you see. The only exception is when other board owners can break out of the presentation and re-join. Only board owners have access to navigate freely.

You can use the Presentation Menu at the bottom of the screen to navigate between slides, and the number between the arrows represents the current slide for all users. Also, all other content in other locations or slides is not visible when Presentation Mode is enabled.

The following video demonstrates how a presenter would cycle through their slides.

How can I assign the next presenter?

You can assign the next presenter via the Assign Presenter button. Only users with Board Owner permissions will be available in the list. Simply select the user to pass the navigation control to the next presenter. Once you have assigned the presenter, you are no longer controlling the location of the audience.

How can I access my presentation notes?

While I am presenting...

While Presentation Mode is active, you can access your presentation notes via the presentation notes in the Presentation Menu. When selecting the Presentation Notes button, a panel with notes and the next slide preview will show on the left side of the screen.

While I am not presenting...

There are two places where you can access Presentation Notes while you are creating your board content:

  1. When selecting a slide header, you can access Presentation Notes via the slide's asset context menu:

  2. In the Navigation Panel, you can select Presentation Notes from the "..." dropdown that is associated with any location or slide.

How can I access menus when they are automatically hidden?

Presentation Menu

By default, the Presentation Menu is docked at the bottom of the screen, and this will automatically hide after 5 seconds of inactivity. To retrieve the Presentation Menu, simply move your cursor to the bottom of the screen.

Tools Menu

By default, the Tools Menu is docked on the left side of the screen, and it automatically hides after 5 seconds of inactivity. To retrieve the Tools Menu, simply move your cursor to the left edge of your screen. This menu is not available to users with Viewer permissions.

How can I exit Presentation Mode?

You can exit Presentation Mode by selecting the "Stop presentation" button in the board header. This will zoom everyone out and reveal all content in the current viewport.
