What's new?
The Asset Reactions user experience has been improved! Simply select the emoji icon in the asset context menu to display the desired reaction. Note: this is now enabled by default when you create a new Alleo board.
The Alleo video call experience has been optimized so more users can join an Alleo video call while utilizing less computer resources.
An Alleo Widget is an asset containing a custom HTML/javascript application. With each monthly release, we will continue to add new widgets. This release contains the following widgets, and they can be found in the Widget Library in the Tools Menu.
World Clock - Pick a timezone, and the widget time will be consistent around the globe.
Star Rating - Users on the board can give ratings from one to five stars.
Time Label - Adds the local time to your board.
Date Label - Adds the date on your board.
Analog Clock - Adds an analog clock showing the local time on your board.
Stoplight Button - You can select to toggle between red, yellow, and green icons.
Enhancements
Alleo now notifies you via the in-app Alleo notifications you when a board is shared with you.
In the templates section of the dashboard, now clicking a template thumbnail will prompt you to create a board from the template. The menu option to edit templates has been moved to the "..." dropdown menu.
The "My profile" section has been renamed to "My settings," and this now contains notification options.
You now have the option to enable system notifications so your local operating system can optionally send Alleo notifications.
When sharing your screen, we now display a message indicating that you may experience a mirroring effect so users are not surprised by a mirroring effect when sharing the current display.
The "duplicate" button in the asset context menu now copies the asset to the clipboard. This is convenient when you want to use the press & hold menu on a touch device to paste the asset into any board.
In the Navigation Panel, the current location is now outlined in purple to make the current location more obvious to the current user.
Resolved Issues
The asset context menu UI now contains a back button when accessing a submenu, so you no longer have to X out and reselect.
We resolved an issue when using the Microsoft Teams 3rd party calling feature and when you paste the meeting link.
We resolved an issue when grouped assets are removed from a container via button action.
The live video stream timeout option is no longer applied when there is only a single user in the board.
We resolved an issue when sharing a Map board with users outside of the current organization.
