How can I configure color defaults for a specific board?

An admin user has the ability to configure the default Sticky notes, Text, and Pen colors for an organization. A user with owner permissions can override the color defaults for a particular board. Please see the instructions below

  1. In the user dropdown in the upper right part of the screen, select Board Settings.

  2. Navigate to the Colors section.

  3. Click the desired color to override the default for a particular asset type. Note: if you select Apply to all, the color will be overridden for all asset types.

How can I access my board color defaults?

Any user can override the board or org default colors by right clicking the color option and using the color selector to pick a color. This color selector contains a list of color defaults. If a user has previously selected a custom color, you can use the color defaults to reset the color. As an example, the following shows how to update a sticky note color with the default setting:

In the image below, I will reset the dark blue to the default blue color. Select the sticky note -> select the color icon -> right click or long-press one of the color options.

Here, I will select the default blue color.

Notice how the sticky note now has an option for the default blue color:
