How can I collaborate on Google Drive documents in an Alleo board?

How can I allow Alleo to add my Google files to an Alleo board?

  1. Open the Files Panel.

  2. Select the back button to access to access the root directory.

  3. Select Google Drive.

  4. From there, select your account with Google.

  5. Then select Allow to allow Alleo to see, edit, and delete the Google Files you use within the app.

How can I collaborate with Alleo users on a Google Drive document?

  1. Select the Google Drive icon to open the Google Files picker. You may have to click the back button to get the root folder.

  2. Select a file to add to the board.

  3. When prompted, select to add this document as an Embed.

  4. Then, select whether you would like the users in the board to have view or edit rights to the Google Drive document.

You are also able to paste the link to a Google Drive document to automatically embed the document into your Alleo board.

How can I add a Google Drive document as an Alleo asset?

If you are intending to only view the asset, you can add the document as a standard Alleo document. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Google Drive icon in the Files panel. You may have to click the back button to get the root folder.

  2. Using the Google Files Picker, select the desired document to add to the board.

  3. Select to add the document as a Document. The asset will then be converted to an Alleo document and added to the board.
