The pen tool allows users to draw and annotate directly on their content in a board. Drawing mode turns your cursor/pen/touch into a pen until you return to cursor mode.
The following are some helpful tips on how to return to cursor mode if you become "stuck" in drawing mode:
Select Cursor on the Main Toolbar
By selecting the cursor on the main toolbar, you are returning to cursor mode. There are use cases in which the main toolbar might not be present on your board.
Press the "P" key on your keyboard
By pressing the "P" for pen, the pen is toggled on and off- turning your drawing mode off if it has been activated. There are use cases in which the keyboard might not be accessible for your board.
Long press and Select Cursor
When you long press/click anywhere in the board while the draw mode is activated, a Board Context Menu pops up around your selection. From here you can select Cursor, Drawing, Eraser, Exit Dashboard, and Show Home. By selecting the cursor, you will turn off the drawing mode.
