Asset Drawing Enhancements

  • When activated via an asset's context menu, drawing is now restricted to the boundary of the asset. Note: there is a toggle in the drawing menu so users can optionally draw outside the bounds of an asset.

  • To avoid distractions, the notification when asset drawing is enabled has been removed.

  • When asset drawing is enabled, and when the drawing menu has been deselected, the pen icon is now located in the standard asset context menu UI for easier access.

  • When asset drawing is enabled, the drawing menu now has a draw icon so users can more clearly see if the pen is enabled.

Note: Asset-based drawing can be enabled upon request. This feature is not enabled for your organization by default.

Other Enhancements

  • As a board owner, now you can add an action to "kick displays" to the start screen. This is convenient when you want to end your current session on multiple Alleo Rooms displays.

  • To make template management easier, now you can export an Alleo board in the "Template library" section. Simply select a template's submenu and click "Export."

  • The object actions icon has been updated to better clarity.

Resolved Issues

  • We resolved an issue with an image briefly being displayed in the upper left corner when a button widget is on the board.

  • We resolved an issue when users are performing a two-finger zoom gesture on top of a panel; the browser's zoom level is no longer impacted.

  • We resolved an edge case when an Org Admin allows a non-admin user to execute a "Navigate display" action; the user can no longer override an "in use" display.

  • We resolved an issue when using the "reset slide" action more than once.

  • We resolved a UI issue when updating the background image of a slide.
