In the Video call section under Board Settings, following options are available:

Mic Default

  • This is the default state of the mic when a user is joining a call. With the switch to the left (greyed out), your mic will default to being off. With the switch to the right (blue with a checkmark), your mic will default to being on.

Camera Default

  • This is the default state of the webcam when a user is joining a call. With the switch to the left (greyed out), your camera will default to being off. With the switch to the right (blue with a checkmark), your camera will default to being on.

Do not prompt when automatically starting live video during the loading of a board.

  • If a live video asset is configured to automatically load live video content when a board initially loads, this setting determines whether a user prompt is required prior to automatically starting the live video.

Use P2P connection for Audio and Video

  • When enabled, Alleo live video assets and video call streams use peer-to-peer streaming technology. The live video streams do not connect with an external streaming server, and the video encoding is performed by the system initiating the live video streams.

  • More information on P2P connection can be found HERE
