NOTE: You may also add live video using object actions. Click here to learn more.

Screenshare

To add your screenshare to an Alleo board, you must be an Editor or Owner of that board. Go to the toolbar and click on the Live content tab. Click on the last tab which is labeled "Screenshare". Drag the screenshare button into your board and choose which window to share.

Anonymous Screenshare

In Alleo, users have the functionality to share their screen anonymously onto a display. To set this up, you will need a laptop and a display running Alleo Rooms in the same board.

  1. On your laptop, follow the instructions above for adding a screenshare object to the Alleo board.

  2. When prompted to choose a window to share, click "Cancel".

  3. Access the settings of the empty screenshare object via its submenu and go to the Customization tab.

  4. Tick the box labeled "Display share code and URL".

  5. The screenshare window on your laptop will confirm that the share code is visible on the display.

  6. The display will show the share code (screenshare.withalleo.com/_ _ _ _ _ _) in the screenshare window.

  7. Have the user enter this URL into their browser’s search bar to be prompted to share a window from their device.
